MISSION
The purpose of LADE is to improve the effectiveness of developmental instruction, supportive services, professional competencies of developmental personnel, and to provide for the continued support of developmental education in Louisiana. LADE seeks to accomplish these by:
  • providing staff developmental activities for sharing of professional methods, techniques, and strategies.
  • providing for an annual conference for the membership and other interested persons supportive of LADE concerns.
  • providing for a communications channel through which information may be shared with the membership.
  • engaging in coordination of efforts with other organizations having purposes supportive of, or in harmony with, LADE concerns.

The Louisiana Association for Developmental Education (LADE) is a chapter member of
National Association for Developmental Education (NADE).
